If you are a young learner and you are Dyslexic, School or College should be the best place for you to receive advice and support.
If you are not engaged in education and you know or think that you are Dyslexic then be very careful of where you obtain your advice. It could turn out to be expensive.
If you are a mature person and you have managed to conceal your Dyslexia be very careful of whom you disclose or confide in.
Making jokes and pocking fun at Dyslexic people appears to be accepted within the workplace and society at large.
There is a lot of negativity that surrounds the Dyslexia topic.
If you are a celebrity that has achieved and you are disclosing that you have achieved despite of Dyslexia, then all is well, and the public will admire your achievement even more. May I Thank You for taking this action as it certainly does help raise awareness with regard to the effects of Dyslexia and other learning related barriers.
If you don’t fit the celebrity bracket, and you decide to play the dyslexia card, be careful because it can often have a negative effect.
